Tips to Score More than 500 in the NEET Exam in One Month

1. Know What You have to Study/Your Syllabus

The syllabus that is set for NEET applicants is vast but panicking will be just the opposite of what you should do. So instead, compose yourself and plan your studies based on the topics to be covered. The syllabus for the NEET exam is almost similar to NCERT and most of the topics can be covered from NCERT books. Therefore, go through all the topics from the NCERT books of the 11th and 12th grades and note down the important points for revision.

2. Smart Study Material

Preparing for the NEET exam when only 1 month is left, the selection of the right study material can be a little confusing. To avoid confusion, chalk out your study routine in a subject-wise manner.
For Physics and Chemistry: Make sure you study from your self-prepared notes rather than lengthy standard books for a simple learning process, especially when only 1 month is left. Solving MCQ as much as possible is a must.
For Biology: To prepare for Biology, students must study from the NCERT books. Do not refer to any kind of short notes for Biology at this stage. Prepare flowcharts with important keywords. Solve and practise the last 10 years’ question papers. Remember that Biology carries greater weightage than Physics or Chemistry, so dedicate more time to it.
You can also take help from teachers and avail of online expert assistance. Consulting students who have already cleared the NEET exams will be extremely beneficial to plan your exam strategies.

3. Create a Calendar Timetable for 1 Month

Mark your study calendar from day 1 and have a pre-planned routine for each day. This will help you judge your revision pace. This is an organised method to avoid exam stress.

4. Make Notes while Studying

One of the best ways you can memorise important details for longer is by making short notes and highlighting the important points. This way all the important information will be easily accessible and you can revise it daily without having to hunt down through several pages.

5. Revise Over and Over Again

What is the use of putting so much effort if you can’t remember what you studied? So revising what you have studied is crucial. Revise all the important formulas along with their applications. Solve and practise sample question papers.

Conclusion

It is important to keep your mind and body fit during this last month before NEET. Follow a healthy diet and have foods that contain iron and vitamin B. Ensure that you consume a good amount of water and sleep for at least 6-8 hours every day so that you have a fit body and a refreshed mind.
